The Ringsling is the perfect baby carrier if you like convenience and speed. This short sling has 2 aluminum rings through which the flexible fabric is passed. This way you can adjust the baby carrier effortlessly and steplessly to the right size. The ringsling is very easy to put over your head so that the fabric rests on your shoulder, your child sits on the opposite hip. Then just tighten the sling and you are ready to go! The Ringsling is light and compact so it is easy to take with you on a trip or in your bicycle bag. Also very easy for a toddler who wants to be carried occasionally, hop on, hop off!
Make sure that the fabric is not twisted through the rings, but neatly arranged, which makes for ease during tightening.
Place the rings just in front of your shoulder when hanging the ring sling, so that after placing your baby and tightening the ring sling, you have the rings at the level of your collarbone.
Tightly stretch the fabric at the neck; this horizontal strip provides neck support. Optionally, you can make a neck roll, by rolling a spit cloth in the fabric, if your baby is still very small.
You can spread the shoulder track wide over your shoulder for good weight distribution.
Make sure the back has a natural bulge (hips tilted toward you) and the cloth is snug in the knees.
